PRESIDENT OF MONGOLIA MET WITH THE PRESIDENT OF THE OSLO CENTER
During the International Workshop “Sound Management of Natural Resources-2” co-organized by the International Cooperation Fund of Mongolia and the Oslo Center, President of Mongolia H.E. Mr. Ts. Elbegdorj met with the former Prime Minister of Norway and President of the Oslo Center Mr. Kjell Bondevik in Naypyidaw, Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
The Oslo Center was established in 2006 to cooperate with developing countries in the areas of good governance, human rights and democracy. For the past 2 two years Mongolia has been closely cooperating with the Oslo Center.
They exchanged views on further cooperation of Mongolia and the Oslo Center, to expand and deepen the cooperation beyond natural resources management to other areas of strengthening democracy and good governance.
Furthermore, they agreed to organize the next event in Kyrgyz Republic.
