The Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between our two countries is being enriched by new opportunities of cooperation”.

The Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Li Keqiang is expected to attend the ASEM Summit in Ulaanbaatar. I believe that during his visit, we will discuss many issues of cooperation.

Today, I would like to exchange views on several issues of mutual relations.

First, we are successfully updating the mutual agreement on border port and its rule which was established in 2004. More important issues are making four ports of international statues. The issues related to the Gashuunsukhait port and Gants Mod port /Ganqimaodu/. I request you to pay more attention to address issues relevant to the railway.

Second, during your stay in Mongolia in 2014, Mongolia and China signed agreements on promoting Mongolia’s access to the Chinese seaports and on the development of railway transit transport. Please, take these issues into consideration.

Third, there is a need to pay attention to implementing the Egiin Gol hydropower plant project through the soft loan from China”.
