STATE SECRETARY HANDED OVER OXYGEN CONCENTRATORS DONATED BY TEMASEK FOUNDATION INTERNATIONAL TO THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH
Today, Mr. N.Ankhbayar, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, handed over 10 oxygen concentrators for treatment of patients with respiratory conditions, donated by the Temasek Foundation International of the Singapore for the public hospitals of Mongolia, to the Ministry of Health of Mongolia. Mrs. Sh.Ankhmaa, Deputy Minister for Health and other officials attended the ceremony.
This year marks the 50th Anniversary of the establishment of Diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Republic of Singapore. Over the past years, relations between the two countries have been expanding in all sectors, in particular, cooperation in trade, economic, investment and humanitarian sectors have seen dynamic development. Within the framework of its support to Mongolia’s development, the Singapore also provided valuable contribution to the development of human resourse in public service, medical personnel and private enterprises.
The Government of Singapore has also supported Mongolian Government policy and actions to prevent and fight the Covid-19 since the very beginning of the global pandemic. In March 2020, the Temasek Foundation donated 3000 rapid test kits developed by A*Star Singapore to Mongolia to help prevent and fight the Covid-19 pandemic.
